
Sean Oldroyd, DO, a native of Boulder, CO, graduated with honors in 2013 from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. While in emergency medicine residency training at Kaweah Delta Health Care District in Visalia, CA, he became involved in rapid response system administration and research.
His research has focused on identifying common factors among patients who require transfer to critical care within the first 24 hours of hospital admission. Future research interests are focused on the utility of scoring systems to risk stratify patients prior to admission to the hospital from the emergency department.
Currently he is an attending physician in emergency medicine and a member of the emergency medicine residency faculty at Kaweah Delta Health Care District. He remains involved in performance improvement at Kaweah Delta as a part of the Rapid Response and Code Blue Quality Focus Team.
